Hudson Institute will host a daylong conference on United States–India security cooperation with leading experts and policymakers, featuring  Siddharth Iyer, the director for South Asia policy in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and keynote remarks by HE Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Indian ambassador to the US.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official state visit in June 2023 showcased Washington and New Delhi’s close strategic bonds. The two countries have a similar vision for the Indo-Pacific, agree on the shared threat from China, and are collaborating on defense and technology. They also share concerns on security issues like terrorism.
