Major General Mark Mitchum, commander of the Air Force’s nascent Integrated Capabilities Command, will explain how the new program is working within the service and across the Department of Defense to develop a force that gives decision-makers options for deterring aggression and defeating enemies. Specifically, Major General Mitchum will review the Air Force’s missions and challenges, explain the Integrated Capabilities Command’s functional and mission thread analyses, and identify how these analyses will accelerate capability development and inform resourcing decisions.
