Sheffield Hallam University has done important work documenting human rights abuses and forced labor in the Uyghur region of China. Their research has exposed how Uyghur forced labor taints the entire solar technology supply chain and uncovered the international intermediary factories that bring Xinjiang cotton into the global market. Join Hudson Institute Senior Fellow Nury Turkel and Professor Laura Murphy of Sheffield Hallam University for a discussion on the steps that the U.S. and other governments must take to ensure that corporations are not bringing goods tainted by forced labor into international markets.
