Join Hudson Institute for a discussion with Commissioner Noah Joshua Phillips on how national security fits into the debates surrounding antitrust. The conversation will be moderated by Hudson Senior Fellow, Harold Furchtgott-Roth.

We are in the midst of a national debate about the role of antitrust. Academics, legislators, and enforcers are calling on antitrust to morph into a regulatory catch-all that can address everything from racial equity to income inequality. Of all the non-competition values some have sought to use antitrust to pursue, national security is one of the oldest and the most compelling. Commissioner Phillips will address this history, how national security ought to fit into antitrust today, and what that means for the national debate about antitrust generally.
