Mr. Blinken will offer his perspective on global challenges the United States faces and the trajectory of the Democratic Party’s foreign policy. Hudson Institute Distinguished Fellow Walter Russell Mead will moderate the event.
Mr. Blinken has held numerous government positions, including U.S. deputy secretary of state, U.S. deputy national security advisor, deputy assistant to the president and national security advisor to the vice president. He also served as the Democratic staff director for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and on the National Security Council. Mr. Blinken is the co-founder of WestExec Advisors and is currently a chief foreign policy advisor for Vice President Biden’s presidential campaign.
