Hudson Institute, in partnership with NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division and Policy Planning Unit with the Office of the Secretary General, hosted an event to discuss the future of the NATO alliance. Panelists will include Brookings Institution’s Amanda Sloat and Hudson’s Nadia Schadlow and Peter Rough. Hudson Research Fellow Nate Sibley moderated the discussion.

As NATO celebrates its 70th anniversary, the alliance is striving to adapt to the shifting strategic environment of tomorrow. Under the rubric of “Adaption: Understanding New Strategic Trends,” experts will address the future of the transatlantic bond and whether western politics are in crisis. How are new economic, political, and technologic forces shaping the future of military alliances?

Hudson Institute also hosted a private roundtable of experts on this subject. Please find a summary of those deliberations here.

**NOTE: This event is open to the press. All members of the media should RSVP to [email protected].**
