Hudson Institute hosted a discussion with Jonathan Baker on his new book, The Antitrust Paradigm: Restoring a Competitive Economy. In this book, Baker reveals how business practices harming competition manage to go unchecked and unregulated. The conversation will be moderated by Hudson Senior Fellow Harold Furchtgott-Roth.

The Antitrust Paradigm demonstrates how reform efforts intended to unleash competitive enterprise have instead inflated market power, which harms the welfare of workers and consumers, squelches innovation, and reduces overall economic growth. Drawing on the latest in empirical and theoretical economics to defend the benefits of antitrust laws, Baker shows how enforcement and jurisprudence can be updated for the high-tech economy.
