Research Fellow & Director, Initiative on the Future of India and South Asia, Hudson Institute

On November 26, Hudson Institute hosted journalist Dr. Manoj Joshi for a discussion on India-China relations. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Aparna Pande, a research fellow and director of Hudson’s Initiative on the Future of India and South Asia.

Territorial disputes, the Sino-U.S. trade war, and deepening connections between India and the West have strained Sino-Indian relations. Additionally, China’s growing ties with Pakistan, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and other countries have left leaders in New Delhi and Washington feeling concerned. Ahead of India and China’s joint military exercises scheduled for December, Dr. Pande and Dr. Joshi examined the increasing tensions between these two powers.
