No two countries can work together more effectively on these developing technologies than the United States and Japan.

On December 19, Hudson Institute was honored to host the first-ever international symposium with engineers and policy experts from both countries who will discuss opportunities for U.S.-Japan collaboration on emerging technologies, military strategy, and defense innovation.

Moderated by Hudson Executive Vice President Lewis Libby and Hudson Senior Fellow Dr. Arthur Herman, the symposium's keynote speakers included Dr. Andrew Krepinevich, former Director of the Center for Strategic and Budgetary Assessments; Vice Admiral (Ret.)
