Speakers:
Few Americans have spent more time near the center of power than former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. His years at the helm of the Pentagon have included momentous times, including the 9/11 attack. He was instrumental in devising the U.S. response to that attack and the overall U.S. strategy for the war on terrorism, including the campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Now he has written Known and Unknown, a best-selling memoir of his half-century career, sharing previously undisclosed details that may force historians to rethink much of the conventional wisdom about recent history. Secretary Rumsfeld's book reveals what happened behind the scenes during critical moments of the Bush administration, as the President's inner circle debated how best to defend our country.
