Speakers:
The federal government is the primary consumer of much of the available radio spectrum. The Obama Administration, through the Department of Commerce, is evaluating various bands of spectrum that could be transferred from federal to commercial use.
The 25 MHz of spectrum from 1755-1780 has recently been the focus of much attention. What might this band of spectrum be used for? How soon will it likely be available for commercial use? What steps need to be taken first?
To examine these and related questions, Hudson's Center for the Economics of the Internet convened a panel discussion featuring leading spectrum-policy experts on September 16, 2013 at the Institute's Washington, DC headquarters.
